Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Wow, what a lot of history in country music. After a really good sleep in and some breakfast it was off to the Country Music Hall of Fame. There is so much history here and tons of exhibits it was well after 4:30 PM when we finished and because it was a Sunday things just closed up after this.

We did find out that the reason that there was no excitement in Nashville this weekend is that they all moved to Vegas for the Country Music Awards. That and they are all back here next weekend for Easter Weekend.

No matter, it was a lot of fun to go through the Museum and Hall of Fame.

We missed lunch before heading in so it was time for some down South BBQ (what they do down here is smoke the meat for hours, what we mostly do at home is grill). The picture is me sitting indoors but with door open at Porky's BBQ. It's tea we are drinking, not beeer by the way.

Here also is Sherry in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Some tense moments this evening as we were watching the TV real close as there were Tornado warnings and watches all around us. Don't know if there were any that touched down but the risk is over now.

Tomorrow, Atlanta
